Ooh, another chance to share one of my favourite videos.
I'm pretty sure the scene in Kill Bill was a deliberate homage to Feynman.

so to this thinking, when you put gravity and gravity together (s/s, n/n), you get antigravity? Spectacular.

Also, the origin of magnets within a round body explains their attraction to other round bodies, like your mom.

That was fascinating. At the beginning, when he was talking about the series of "why" questions, I kept thinking young children and their endless questions. It's as if they are from an alien planet, and they might as well be, because they still have no frame of reference for what goes on in the world. As adults, we can be happy with a "just because it does" answer because we have a lifetime of experience in which to frame our expectations. Children, of course, do not. As parents and adults, we must at least an effort to answer all the questions, even when they get annoying, because the last thing (I believe) you want to do is stifle an inquiring mind. Thanks for posting that.

No problem, Feynman really was an amazing chap. Nobel prize winning physicist, an extraordinary teacher/explainer/inspirer, and also a sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll man.
